Placement and use
Set blue fescue along the front of sunny borders, beside rock-garden stones, or at the outer edge of a dry-draining bed. Its compact scale works well beside a path, but keep the clumps just inside the bed line so foliage does not crowd circulation. Repeat it in short runs to define a border, or use individual plants to punctuate gravel, boulders, and low mounding perennials.
