Placement and use
Place hyssop along the sunny edge of an herb garden, beside a path, or in a dry border where a modest upright clump can repeat as a rhythm plant. It can define the front half of a mixed bed without blocking views into taller plantings behind it. Keep a clear access edge on at least one side for harvesting and spring cleanup. In a food-growing layout, it can occupy a separate perennial strip near cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, or grape plantings; reserve radish blocks elsewhere.
