Placement and use
Set Irish Moss into the joints between stepping stones, at the edge of a rock garden, or beside a lightly used path where its low mat can meet paving cleanly. It handles light to moderate foot traffic, but it is better treated as a green infill than as the main walking surface. Keep the planting area narrow enough to reach from a path or stepping stone, so stray growth can be trimmed back from paving and edges remain distinct.[1][2]
