Placement and use
Give jacaranda a broad, open lawn panel, a generous island bed, or the outer portion of a large property where its spreading canopy will not crowd buildings or circulation routes. Keep it away from pools, patios, and other surfaces where fallen flowers and leaves would be difficult to manage. Avoid exposed sites that receive strong storm winds, and do not use the tree as a close shade canopy over frequently used seating or service areas.[1][2]
