Placement and use
Give lemon balm a deliberate, bounded place near the edge of an herb bed or beside a path where the foliage is easy to reach from one side. A container, or a bed framed by paving or edging, is especially useful when you want to keep its growth from moving into neighboring planting areas. It can also occupy a border-front position, but leave its full footprint clear of smaller, slower plants rather than tucking it into a crowded mixed planting.[1][2]
