Placement and use
Give lemon verbena a full-sun position near a kitchen-garden path, patio edge, or other regularly used route, but keep its center set back from the walking line. Its fragrant foliage makes a close-by position worthwhile, while its eventual size calls for room to approach it without brushing through neighboring plants. In colder areas, place it in a sizable container that can be moved for winter rather than committing a permanent bed space.[1][2]
