Placement and use
Place lisianthus in the middle or back of a sunny annual border, with lower plants in front and a path or open bed edge close enough for harvest. Repeating it in small groups gives the slim stems more visual presence than scattering single plants through a mixed planting. Keep it out of narrow pinch points beside walks: leave room to reach between the planting and nearby structures without brushing the flowering stems. Taller selections may benefit from discreet support where wind or handling could make stems lean.[1][2]
