Placement and use
Place this tree where its mature canopy can stand clear of the house, drive, utility lines, and smaller planting beds. Use it as a single shade-tree focal point or repeat it along a broad route only where each trunk has ample root-zone and canopy room. Keep paths and seating areas beyond the main future canopy edge if low-maintenance circulation is important, since the tree sheds bark, twigs, large leaves, and fruiting balls.[1][2][3]
