Summer savory is a fast annual herb that brings a compact, upright presence to herb beds and mixed vegetable plantings. Reaching about 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide, it supplies a fine-textured layer between low edging herbs and taller crops. Its summer flowers extend the planting’s usefulness into early fall and bring pollinator activity to the bed.
