Placement and use
Place winter savory at the sunny edge of an herb bed, rock garden, or border, where its low, spreading habit will not hide shorter plants or spill into a path. It can make a tidy transition between a hard edge and taller herbs, tomatoes, beans, onions, or lettuce. Keep it near a path or bed edge for repeated picking from late spring through fall, rather than burying it behind wider plants.[1][2]
