Placement and use
Place coral bells along the front of a partial-shade border, beside a shaded patio, or in a container that will not dry out quickly. The rounded foliage form is useful for filling the lower level beneath more upright plants while keeping the bed edge visually tidy. A repeated row or small drift reads more clearly than isolated single plants. Under trees or shrubs, use sites with a light canopy rather than deep, dense shade, and avoid positions where the soil remains wet.[1][2]
