Placement and use
Place false sunflower in the middle or back of a broad sunny border, behind lower perennials that will not be shaded by its 4-foot stems. It also suits native-style and prairie-inspired plantings, where its clumping, upright habit can repeat along a bed rather than stand alone. Keep it set back from narrow walks and small seating areas so flowering stems do not crowd circulation. A location near a path is useful when you want regular access for cutting and removing spent flowers.[1][2]
