Placement and use
Place hardy hibiscus toward the back or middle of a deep bed, with a clear view from a path, patio, or seating area. Its upright, broad form can make a strong seasonal anchor beside a pond edge, in a rain garden, or in another reliably moist planting area. Keep it out of exposed, windy positions where tall stems may be buffeted, and allow open space around the plant for air movement and easy access at cleanup time.[1][2]
