Placement and use
Place it as a specimen beside a patio, pool edge, wall, or broad path, keeping the crown clear of places where fronds would brush passersby. Its slow growth makes it useful in a composed planting that should hold its structure for years, rather than a bed that needs quick screening. In containers, give it a stable, generously proportioned pot and position it in a shaded outdoor sitting area or a roomy indoor corner with open headroom.[1][2]
