Placement and use
Place lamb’s ear along the front of a border, beside a walkway, or at the edge of a gravelly planting where the foliage can soften a hard line. Keep the planting just back from the path edge rather than allowing it to spill into a narrow route; its spreading stems need room to knit together. It also suits rock-garden pockets and raised or sloping ground that sheds water readily.[1][2][3]
