Placement and use
Place it along the transition between open garden and tree canopy, or use one plant as a broad accent near a patio, foundation, or bend in a path. Its coarse foliage and rounded outline need visual breathing room, so avoid pinching it into a narrow strip between a wall and walkway. In a larger bed, repeat it as a loose mass or informal hedge, leaving an accessible edge for pruning and cleanup.[1][2][3]
