Placement and use
Give pomegranate a full-sun position at the outer edge of a fruit garden, in a broad border, or as a freestanding focal plant beside open hardscape. Its naturally dense, multi-stemmed habit can make an effective visual screen, but keep it out of narrow passageways and away from places where people brush past the branches. Allow a clear working side for pruning, observation, and harvest rather than crowding it against a fence or wall.[1][2]
