Placement and use
Set Rose campion in open, full-sun portions of borders, gravelly beds, rock-garden pockets, or naturalistic drifts where dry conditions are expected. The silvery foliage gives it a clear visual role against darker green leaves, while the upright flowering stems can rise through lower plants without needing a dense backdrop. Keep it off the very front of a narrow bed so its stems do not lean into a path; place it far enough back to allow access for removing spent flowers or managing seedlings.[1][2][3]
