Placement and use
Use Sago Palm as an accent near an entry, patio, wall, or broad bed corner where its rounded crown has room to stand apart from softer foliage. Keep it back from narrow walks, door swings, and frequent work areas: the fronds are rigid and have pointed leaflets, so a clear circulation edge makes the planting more comfortable to pass. Its persistent foliage also gives structure to a bed when shorter nearby plantings change through the year.[1]
