Placement and use
Use Siberian Iris in a sunny border, along a path with planting depth behind the edge, or beside a pond or other area where soil stays evenly moist. Position it where its vertical foliage can rise behind lower plants while the blooms remain visible from a usual viewing direction. Avoid placing it in a narrow passage: the mature clump needs room to arch outward without brushing pedestrians or obscuring access to neighboring plants.[1][2]
