Placement and use
Use this plant where its airy outline can soften the edge of a bed, walk, foundation planting, or naturalized area. Repeat it in small groups to read as a continuous pink sweep, rather than scattering single plants across a large border. Keep it in front of taller perennials and shrubs, and leave an accessible bed edge or stepping route nearby for summer cleanup. Its modest height also suits sunny areas where a taller plant would crowd a window, sightline, or path.[1]
