Placement and use
Place watercress at the edge of a pond, bog garden, lined water feature, or a dedicated container that can remain consistently wet. A partially shaded position helps it fit along the east or west side of taller plantings, beside a structure, or under light open-canopy shade. Give the planting a reachable edge from a path or patio so young shoots can be cut regularly without stepping into saturated soil.[1][2]
